The New Museum has announced it’s replacement for the “Hell Yes” sculpture by Ugo Rondinone that has donned the facade of the building since it’s opening in 2007. “Rose II,” a twenty-eight foot tall stainless steel and aluminum rose designed by German artist Isa Genzken, will be installed on the facade beginning tomorrow. The piece will be Isa Genzken’s first public sculpture in New York and is scheduled to be fully installed by the end of November.
