New Voting Machine Demo Tomorrow

When you go to the polls September 14th (Primary day) and in November, there will be a new wrinkle: modern voting machines! Coming up tomorrow, there will be a demonstration of the new system, which requires voters to use a paper ballot and an electronic scanner. The demo will take place tomorrow from 3-6pm at Bracetti Plaza, 296 East 4th Street (between Avenues B & C). The event is being sponsored by Community Board 3, the East 4th Street Block Association, CODA, District Leader Anthony Feliciano, Councilmember Rosie Mendez, Senator Daniel Squadron and Assemblyman Brian Kavanaugh.
