This is definitely the day to indulge your sweet tooth. In an ingenious effort to promote, Top Chef’s “Just Desserts,” Bravo has dreamed up “Free Dessert Day.” Quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood are taking part. In most cases, you have to order a meal in order to be eligible (every two diners gets a free dessert). As a service to our readers, here’s the Lo-Down:
- A Casa Fox – mini-chocolate empanadas with dulce de leche (lunch and dinner).
- Stuffed Artisan Cannolis – free coco-loco mini-cannoli from 1-3pm (no purchase necessary).
- Dessert Truck Works – chocolate bread pudding 1-3pm (no purchase necessary).
- Antibes – any dessert off the regular menu (dinner only).
- Essex – any dessert off the regular menu.
- Lina Frey – any dessert off the regular menu (lunch and dinner).
- Tapeo 29 – any dessert off the regular menu (dinner only).
- Thor – any dessert off the regular menu (dinner only).
