Showtime is sponsoring a sneak peek of the premier of their new original series, The Big C, and the season premier of the hit show, Weeds, on Wednesday, August 11th at the Sunshine Cinema.
The Big C features actress Laura Linney as a conservative school teacher who learns she has terminal cancer and decides against treatment. Weeds (heading in to it’s sixth season) features Mary Louise Parker as a suburban mother who turns to selling marijuana after after her husband unexpectedly dies. Both shows will premier on Showtime next Monday night.
The Sunshine notes: Check-in will begin at 6:00pm with the show starting at 7:00pm. Guests will receive a Medium popcorn and fountain drink, compliments of Showtime. Arrive early as seating is first come, first served.
