A couple of reminders about things happening in the neighborhood this weekend. First, it’s the 2010 kickoff of Stanton Street Summer Sundays. Stanton, from Allen to Ludlow, will be closed off from noon to 5 for a community celebration. The event, sponsored by the LES Business Improvement District, includes games, great food and music. Summer Sundays will return on July 18th and 25.
And if you’re planning to go to the Hester Street Fair, you don’t have to miss a moment of the World Cup. They’ll have a viewing tent set up both Saturday and Sunday. And if you need to blow off some steam afterwards, they’ll have ping pong! Game time: 230pm.
