Rooftop Films is back on the Lower East Side at the Open Road Rooftop this weekend, both Friday and Saturday night. This evening they will present New York Non-Fiction: “Scratches, beats, and elegies from New York City.” Tomorrow night they are screening a special sneak preview of Lovers of Hate, a film by Bryan Poyser about sibling rivalry taken to an absurd extreme. Dutch artist Nicoline van Harskamp will present the US premiere of Expressive Power Series Part 1: Max Bonner on the Phenomenology of Speech (2010) at The New Museum tonight.
