PS 110 (285 Delancey Street) will be hosting another of their famed pajama pancake breakfasts tomorrow morning at 9am. Co-organizer Lauren Barack writes:
It’s the usual delicious fare: pancakes made by moms and dads, sausages, coffee, juice – tickets are $3 for adults/$2 for children (just enough to cover costs). The Mayor has sent a letter (but not himself — Ahem, Mayor Bloomberg, we know you’re busy — but we truly make a wonderful cup of coffee. And our students might even challenge you to a serious game of kickball….)
This time, in honor of Mother’s Day, all kids will be given a small ceramic planter which they can decorate (or they can bring their own), and then plant with seeds (courtesy of Home Depot!) for an immediate Mother’s Day gift. We so have the Dad’s covered.
Pajamas welcome, our community is welcome. We usually get about 250 to 300 people to these events so they’re a lively way to spend a Saturday morning….and you can often chat with your elected officials….Sen. Daniel Squadron and Assemblyman Brian Kavanagh came to our last one. And once you’ve had your fill, you can slowly stroll over to the Hester Street Fair to make room for a lobster roll, or one of those amazing Passion Fruit popsicles….
