Get Lucid – Tomorrow Night

Must Read

Lucid NYC is back with another night of fascinating presentations at a gathering at Drom (85 Ave. A between 5th/6th St.) The monthly event hosts three or four performers or presenters who are making creative, cutting edge and/or positive contributions to society at large. You can see some highlights from an event they held in January here. Tomorrow’s impressive lineup includes: Cindy Gallop, who stunned the TED conference with her “Make Love Not Porn” talk, as well as heading up the amazing collaborative tool “If We Ran the World.”  The Gregory Brothers, the guys (and gal) behind viral web sensation “Autotune the News,” will be there along with Steven Brower, from Brower Propulsion Laboratory–a lab that originates, develops, and prosecutes space missions with little or no money and very little know-how and Co-founder of Mindshare.la (Lucid’s left-coast sister event) and globe-trotting swashbuckler Douglas (aka Dougie Fresh) Campbell. Not to mention underground guitar hero One-Legged Chuck and interactive displays by Matt Davis!
