Lower East Side BID Names Bob Zuckerman Executive Director

The Lower East Side Business Improvement District announced (via Twitter) that Bob Zuckerman has been named executive director. He was formerly executive director of the Gowanus Canal Community Development Corp., and is a longtime community activist in Carroll Gardens. Zuckerman ran for the City Council last year. He’s also a former executive with the New York Nightlife Association, the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the New York LBGT Community Center. Zuckerman replaces Roberto Ragone.
