They’re back to work digging the foundation at 2 Allen (next to the Jarmulowsky Building), after sorting out some issues with the Department of Buildings. An apartment complex will be rising here from the team behind 55 Hester, the new condominiums next door to the old Gertel’s Bakery site. In other news (as they say), two neighborhood schools will be presenting their plans for dual language programs this evening. We’ll have a preview. And we’ll have our weekly music picks. It’s going to be windy today with a high in the mid-50’s. The weekend looks gorgeous. 83 degrees on Saturday!
