The sun came up just before 6:30 this morning – a sure sign spring can’t be all that far away. Lots of sun and blue sky this morning, but it will become overcast a little later, and the forecast is calling for rain/snow beginning at about 6pm (high 40 degrees).

We’re heading over to the New Museum this morning for a press preview of the much talked about “Skin Fruit” exhibition, curated by Jeff Koons. In the news this morning, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is once again at the center of the debate about Governor Paterson’s (short term) future. We’ll have an update from yesterday’s Chinatown Working Group meeting, where the sticky question of the neighborhood’s borders was a major topic of conversation. And we’ll have an update on legislation Senator Daniel Squadron has been pushing in Albany to clarify the law restricting liquor licenses in certain areas.
