Good Morning!

Seward Park

The weekend might be over but the spring-like weather is still with us. It’s 50 degrees right now! It’ll be mostly sunny today with a high of 58, but windy. Our next chance of showers is on Friday.

Yesterday, we headed over to the West Side, where Senator Daniel Squadron unveiled proposed legislation dealing with school overcrowding. We’ll have more on that a little bit later. We also have details of a new outdoor market coming to the Lower East Side in a few weeks. Tonight, we’ll check in on CB3’s land use committee, which is continuing to discuss the redevelopment of the Seward Park Urban Renewal Area.

Tonight there’s another big benefit in support of Ray’s Candy Store. We have a few Ray-related items in our Monday Newslinks. We’ll also catch up on the rest of the weekend news.

Have a good week!
