Good morning – and happy snow day! Here’s a look at what’s NOT HAPPENING today, as the Blizzard of 2010 (!!!) bares down on New York City. New York City’s schools are, of course closed today. The DOE has also postponed most scheduled events, including tonight’s District 1 Elementary School Fair. All NYC offices are open, but today’s City Council hearings have been canceled. Courts and libraries are also closed. Community Board 3’s Transportation Committee has postponed it’s meeting, scheduled this evening. The Educational Alliance has canceled many programs and events – check out the complete list here. The Vanishing City event at Dixon Place we mentioned the other day is postponed.
