- Arts for Art (the annual host of Vision Festival) is bringing 28 Hours of Innovative Art – A Benefit for the Community of Downtown Innovators by a Community of Downtown Innovators to the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center tonight. Performances by musicians, DJs, video and filmmakers, poets, artists and dancers run (almost all night) until midnight tomorrow night. There will be kids interactive workshops, youth performances, yoga, and
a video-diary booth where audience and artists can share their thoughts

- Port O' Monkeys will be perfoming at The Museum on Eldridge this Sunday at 3:00pm. The band takes its name from a mythical island where people of
all kinds meet and live in harmony. The ensemble incorporates ancient Greek,
Basque, American folk, Yemeni, Afghani, Turkish, Armenian, Hindustani,
Klezmer, Persian and Gypsy music. The performance is part of the museum's Lost & Found music series highlighting musical legacies that are at risk of disappearing.
