United Jewish Council Legislative Breakfast November 4

The United Jewish Council of the East Side will celebrate its 40 year anniversary November 4 with a Legislative Breakfast at Congregation Chasam Sopher, 10 Clinton Street.  At the event, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver will present an award to City Council member Margaret Chin.  The master of ceremonies will be William Rapfogel, head of the Met Council on Jewish Poverty.
