The 26th Annual Lunar New Year Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival kick’s off Manhattan Chinatown’s Lunar New Year events Saturday, Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11am – 3:30pm. The free event includes a firecracker lighting ceremony with Chinese dance, culture, and food at Sara D. Roosevelt Park at Grand Street.
Manhattan’s official Lunar New Year Parade and Festival takes place on Sunday, February 25th at 1pm. The parade route begins at Mott Street and Canal, heading to Chatham Square at East Broadway towards the Manhattan Bridge, and ends on Eldridge and Forsyth Streets, towards Grand Street, next to Sara D. Roosevelt Park. There will be festival booths set up on Bayard Street, between Mott and Mulberry Streets.
