AndrewAndrew and Koneko Cat Cafe Team Up for Drunk Haiku

e8d78995-743b-497e-877d-b4e012dff13cIf you’re looking for a break from your obligatory holiday parties, here’s a unique event that offers some downtime with sake, cats and poetry, all combined into a fun evening hosted by AndrewAndrew at the Koneko Cat Cafe on Clinton Street.  On Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 7pm – 10pm, you can participate in the cafe’s first ever open mic haiku poetry slam, or just hang with the cats — sake included.

Tune up your 5 / 7 / 5 verse writing skills, AndrewAndrew will declare the topics for each round, and sake imbibing contestants will let loose. The cat cafe promises, “winners will receive absurdly amazing prizes and our eternal admiration, and losers will console themselves with our kitties.”
