No Thanksgiving plans yet? Katz’s Deli could be your solution. Once again this year, the 128-year-old Lower East Side institution will be hosting a traditional Thanksgiving feast (with a few Jewish twists).
It’s an all-you-can-eat dinner from 5:30-8 p.m. featuring turkey, plus classic Katz’s specialties like pastrami, latkes, pickles and tsimmes. Space is limited (the front part of the restaurant is open for regular customers while the holiday meal takes place in the back room). Adult tickets are $85. Kids under 12 eat for $42.50. Children 5 years-old and younger are free.
If you prefer take-out, Katz’s has a special Thanksgiving menu, which you can see here. There’s a complete dinner for $31.95 that includes matzo ball soup, chopped liver or latkes, turkey and all the trimmings, plus pumpkin, pecan or apple pie.
