Coming up on Sunday, October 19 — Lower East Side Pickle Day is back with a vengeance. It all takes plaace from noon-5 p.m. on Orchard Street, between Houston and Delancey streets. Fifteen picklers are taking part, including the Pickle Guys, Rick’s Picks, Guss’ Pickles and McClures’s. Plus there will be lots of other food vendors and local boutiques represented.
Spur Tree, Russ & Daughters Cafe, Melt Bakery, Conchinta Dos, Pop Karma, Lost Weekend and Brooklyn Taco will all be there. Once again, there will be a home pickling contest. Click here for more info about that. And of course, there’s Fantasy Grandma (see below). Check out the full lineup here.
