Manny Cantor Center Kicks Off Monthly LES Kids Rock Concert Series
Need a place to jump and shout with your rock n roll kids? This Sunday, April 27th, The Manny Cantor Center kicks off its monthly LES KIDS ROCK series with The Deedle Deedle Dees. If you haven’t been to the new building, this is a good chance to check out the beautiful sixth floor community space and to dance, jump, laugh, sing and have fun with awesome kids’ bands and your neighbors! The cost is only $10 per family. A real LES bargain.
The Deedle Deedle Dees, hailed as one of the top “Music Picks for Families” in 2011 by Paste magazine, are known for their highly interactive performances. The group’s latest release, Strange Dees, Indeed, was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and has been in heavy rotation on Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live; Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child in Northampton, MA; Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl in Knoxville, TN; and many other family radio shows across the country.
