There are additional details this morning about a new bar/cafe coming to 21 Essex Street, the former Sneakstip storefront.  According to a liquor license application filed with Community Board 3, Christopher Herity (formerly of the Fat Radish) and four other partners plan to open up a small bar serving a limited food menu. There would be a “build your own biscuits” program as well as sandwiches and salads. They’re asking for a full liquor license and want to close at 2 a.m. weeknights/4 a.m. weekends. The application, from “Essex Cafe Group,” indicates an 11 a.m. opening time and calls for five tables and a 25 foot bar.  The cafe would also feature art exhibitions.  CB3’s SLA Committee meets Monday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. Click here for more info.
