New LES Food Co-op Holds Organizing Meeting Next Week

Next Tuesday night the new Lower East Side Food Co-op will be holding an organizing meeting and potluck dinner. They’re inviting anyone who’s interested in joining the organization, or in just finding out more information, to stop by. The organizing community will have some new details about the research that’s already been done — and there will be a discussion about next steps the group plans on taking. It’s a pot luck – they’re encouraging people to bring some food – but it’s not required.  The meeting happens at 730pm at the Educational Alliance, 197 East Broadway. We also want to mention that the LES Co-op has a community survey up on their web site. If you haven’t already done so, fill it out!
