The Public Theater is bringing back their monthly “Civic Salons,” starting tomorrow night, Sept. 14th at 7pm, with an online “Civic Keynote” by actress, playwright, educator and arts advocate Nikkole Salter. Intended to create a “community crossroads where artists and audiences can come together to nurture our minds and our bodies,” The Publick writes: “2020 is a year of constant change and a portal to a brave new world. But as we take an active role in shifting the systems that no longer serve us, how can we envision a future that serves us all? Join noted playwright and advocate Nikkole Salter as we ask: what values will you bring with you into the future, and what are you willing to leave behind?”

The Zoom event is free but requires an RSVP here.
