The Artists Alliance team is offering a 2-in-1 voter registration and census completion drive two days this month. On Saturday, Sept. 12th and Sunday, Sept. 27th you can find them on the corner of Essex and Broome Streets (outside Essex Market) and take care of both civic duties. They write:
The 2020 residential election is fast approaching and we want to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to cast their vote this November. While you’re with us, learn more about absentee balloting and early voting and be sure to fill out the census with one of our volunteers to secure the basic resources that our neighborhoods deserve (we’re talking Medicaid, public school systems, transportation, EBT, and so much more).
