Good morning! The other day, we finally got our first look at the new 50-foot spire on top of the Jarmulowsky Bank Building. It’s been surrounded in scaffolding since being hoisted into position this past summer. The newly fabricated lantern replaces the original version, which was unceremoniously removed in 1990. A boutique hotel is set to open in the restored bank building in the future (the latest estimate is summer of 2020).
