A comedic Klezmer mash-up, of sorts, is debuting at Abrons Arts Center for three nights starting tomorrow, April 11 – Saturday, April 13, 2019. Comedic performer Morgan Bassichis and musician/composer Ethan Philbrick are collaborating, along with an allstar ensemble of klezmer luminaries Eva Boodman, Christina Crowder, and Debra Kreisberg to bring “three nights of highly relatable stories set to infectious Klezmer music” to the stage.
Abrons writes:
“Three nights of comedic stories set to infectious Klezmer music. Who knows! Maybe we’ll walk away with some new Jewish folktales for the whole neighborhood!”
