An information session is coming up for anyone interested in running for a seat on the city’s community education councils. It’s being sponsored by Community Education District 1. This year, all parents from Pre-K to 8th grade are eligible to apply as long as they have a child enrolled in a District 1 school. The event will take place at P.S. 20, 166 Essex St., Dec. 31, 6:30 p.m.
