Our friends at the filmmakers collective, FilmShop, host their annual night of themed short films this Saturday, July 21, at Rough Trade. They write:
Whether it’s the revenge that went unsought, the crush that went unconfessed, the dream that went unpursued, or just that one nagging expense report that remains uncompleted…everyone’s got a little bit of “unfinished business.”
Learn more about ours at Filmshop’s annual end-of-season celebration, Filmshop Presents: Unfinished Business. We’ll be screening over 25 never-before-seen films, all created specifically for this event, all inspired by this year’s theme: Unfinished Business.
Every film was created and collaborated on by Filmshop members, each with their own unique take on the theme.
Filmshop members’ films have screened at festivals across the world – from Berlinale, to Dances with Films, to the Tribeca Film Festival – and have been featured in Filmmaker Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and The New York Times. This is your chance to see their newest work, before anyone else.
In addition to films, the event will feature DJ Kerry Lacy, an installation by Mono No Aware, a themed photo booth, and a silent auction with donated prizes for the filmmaker and the film lover alike.
