Police say they have made an arrest in connection with the rape of a woman in East River Park Wednesday evening.
Acting on tips from the Crime Stoppers hotline, cops yesterday identified the suspect as 28-year-old Paul Niles. The atatck happened near the East River bandshell. The victim was a 26-year-old woman who was dragged from the foot bridge and brutally attacked.
No where exactly where and when Niles was arrested. More details as they become available.
