Whynot Coffee, 175 Orchard St.

Community Board 3 is out with its March liquor license docket. Among the items of interest: a proposal to convert Whynot Coffee at 175 Orchard St. into a sushi restaurant. They’re asking to upgrade the establishment’s license from wine/beer to full liquor and to extend service to the backyard. There was a long battle over Whynot’s liquor permit when the business opened.  See below for the full agenda.
