Police have arrested a suspect in a string of robberies and beatings that took place last week on the Lower East Side.

One of the incidents happened June 16 at around 2.am. outside 210 Stanton St., just west of Pitt Street.  DNA Info reported that 17-year old Travis Taylor is suspected along with two other suspects of assaulting a 41-year old man, breaking bones in his face. According to the story, they then went around the corner to 97 Pitt St. and attacked another man, 35-year-old Juan Pichardo.  They allegedly swiped his cell phone, ipod and about $60.  Following the attack, Pichardo made it over to the 7th Precinct and was later taken to the hospital, where he required 15 stitches. Cops believe the suspects are reponsible for at least two other incidents, including one June 15 on Avenue B.

Taylor lives on East 6th Street.
