A new sales listing has popped up on Street Easy for the Blue Moon Hotel at 100 Orchard St.

The lovingly restored tenement building is now being marketed by Yael Gluska of YGNY Realty for $19 million. When we last checked in on the Blue Moon last year at around this time, Eastern Consolidated had listed the 22-room property across from the Tenement Museum for $19.5 million. The hotel has been on the market for at least eight years; at one point owner Randy Settenbrino was seeking $35 million.
In 2009, a real estate industry consultant speculated the building might be worth around $10 million, although the broker who had the listing at the time noted that there were no comparable listings in New York because the hotel is a one-of-a-kind property. Today Curbed asks, “Can the Blue Moon Hotel make it to a decade on the market without selling”
