If you have electronic equipment to get rid of, this weekend there’s an opportunity to dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way. Old computers, TV’s, printers, cables, DVD players, video game consoles and other items can be dropped off at a recycling site on Grand Street between Pitt and Willett streets. The event is being sponsored by the LES Ecology Center, State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Henry Street Settlement. The hours are 10 a.m. 4 p.m. Click here for more info.
