Here are some more excellent photos of Hurricane Sandy’s aftermath from our readers.  Keep them coming. And keep us updated on the recovery out there.  We are all standing by for more information on the return of power.

Here are some photos sent to us last night from Lo-Down reader Dan Ucko.  He writes: Here’s some shots from around LES today to add to your collection. Some wood pillars seemed to lodge their way onto a black mustang on 20th. The wood didn’t seem to fall otherwise would expect more shattering and denting. Parked cars like the yellow Mini seemed to have moved around on the flood. The last shot is in the Stuy Town apartments where a tree was uprooted and fell flat into the walkway. No one and no property was damaged by it. Power went out to those residents about 8pm last night when the Con Ed substation blew. Cell service went down at the same time and is still like that now.
