EastBridge “Parlor” Opens in Former Eldridge Location

From the in-box – an invite from the new team taking over what was previously the haut monde cocktail lounge, The Eldridge: From The Eldridge To EastBridge (opening tonight) – The infamous lower east side lounge, with the previous bookstore façade, is opening their blinds for the first time since its reconstruction this May. Inhabiting the illustrious 247 address on Eldridge Street, new owners Matt Dino and Sean Hughes have completely reinvented the venue in less than six weeks time.

EastBridge New York City will debut as a neighborhood parlor that boasts a warm, classy climate with an oasis of cocktails. Dino and Hughes’ comprehensive vision is to present the LES community with an intimate barroom of charming characters where one can explore engaging conversation in a buoyant atmosphere.

«We’re simple, guys that want to open a fun, place that makes everyone feel comfortable» says Dino. « Not in it for gimmicks or trends» Hughes reiterates, «We’re in it to run a good bar that becomes a neighborhood staple» Specifically within NYC and Miami, Dino and Hughes, have been industry players now for over a decade. Just in time for spring, EastBridge will be open 7 days a week from 5-4am.

  1. stopped in there last night, great happy hour specials, the bartender (and apparent owner) was really friendly, and the drink menu is great
