The little town of Balthrop Alabama returns. The imaginary musical town, sprung from the minds of brother, Pascal Balthrop, and sister, Lauren Balthrop, will take to the stage of the Livingroom this Saturday for a meaty 2-hr set. MUJERES – Sun., Mar 13 | 9PM at Pianos
Mujeres (spanish for “women”) are a rock band with a hefty sound, hailing from Barcelona, Spain. They seamlessly sway between 1960’s garage rock and 1970’s underground. Their vocals are usually doubled screams, the guitar riffs are nice and dirty, and the drums are loud and solid. And that’s on their ‘low’ setting.
