Passover “Nosh & Stroll”

Must Read

Passover is still a couple of weeks away, but the Museum at Eldridge Street is celebrating early. On Sunday, they’re leading a “nosh & stroll” through the neighborhood. Included in the visit are the Streit’s Matzoh Factory, the Pickle Guys and Schapiro’s Wine (“famously so quick you can cut it with a knife.”)

There will also, of course, be a stop at the Eldridge Street Synagogue. The tour is meant to shed light on the “holiday customs, foods and history of Jewish immigrants of a century ago.” It begins at 3pm and costs $15. To RSVP (reservations are required), call 212-219-0888 x205.

They also have a fun event coming up on Sunday, April 4th: a Passover Spectacular! There will be a scavenger hunt, leading to a special “Freedom Party” featuring food, music and arts&crafts. Visit the Museum at Eldridge Street web site for more details.
