The team behind the Hester Street Fair and the Seward Park Co-op took advantage of the nice weather this past weekend to work on the gate leading to the space they’ll be utilizing when the event debuts next month. It’s being rebuilt, mostly by recycling sections of the old fence. Speaking of the weather, we’re in for a couple of days of rain before the sun makes a comeback. Today’s high, 60 degrees. Yesterday, we checked out the first-ever “Art Handlers Olympics.” Look for some amusing photos later today.  This week we’ll take a look at preparations for Passover on the Lower East Side. And we’ll be keeping tabs on budget hearings at City Hall. Have a good week.
