The Real Deal reports this afternoon that Tatum O’Neal’s Forward Building apartment has finally sold.  The 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit with 1425 square feet went for $1.72 million.  According to records, the purchasers were Daniel and Abby Ziluca.   O’Neal has not lived in the apartment for several years.  She bought the home for $1.425 million in 2006.  Last summer, the unit was listed for rent for $7,000/month.

If you’re just kicking yourself about this missed opportunity, no fear!  We received word today about another Forward Building apartment on the market.  TOWN Residential is offering a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit for $9,000/month.  There’s an open house Sunday from noon-2 p.m.  Last year, this unit was listed by Douglas Elliman for $9500/month.
