Seward Park Library is back open for “grab and go” service to return or pick up your reserved books (holds). Masks are required for entry. Meanwhile their programming is amping up online and they recently announced a “Community Conversation – Resistance and Resilience” to be held in partnership with Local Voices Network New York. They write:

Join us for a conversion about our concerns, hopes, and ideas about living through this past year in NYC. Our conversation will be transcribed, keyworded, and posted on a website to be shared with media outlets, local decision makers, and other neighborhood stakeholders with the goal of offering a new window into issues that are important to our community…The conversation will be held over the Zoom video conferencing platform and will be recorded.

The new, limited hours are: Mon., Tues., 11a – 6p, Weds., 12p – 7p, Thurs., 11a – 6p, Fri., Sat., 11a – 5p, Sun., CLOSED –  but keep an eye on their Instagram account, as they’ve had some unexpected recent closures due to weather and construction.  You can call 926-ASK-NYPL (917-275-6975) with any questions.
