Police are looking for two men who robbed a jewelry store yesterday afternoon, firing at least one shot before fleeing.
Channel 7 this morning has surveillance footage, which shows the robbery taking place. Cops say the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. inside the shop, Lucky Diamonds, located on the Bowery between Hester and Canal streets. The suspects made off with an estimated $100,000 in jewels.
One employee locked the front door so the suspects could not escape, but then one of the men fired a shot. The glass shattered, and they kicked the remaining shards way, before escaping.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
