If you want to experience some of the best local restaurants in once place and support Grand Street Settlement at the same time, you might want to make your reservations for Taste of the Lower East Side.
The settlement house’s biggest annual fundraiser is coming up Thursday, May 3. Fifty restaurants are taking part this year, including LES favorites such as Russ & Daughters, Clinton Street Baking Company, Veselka, Kuma Inn and The Meatball Shop. There will also be an open bar and a silent auction.
Taste of the Lower East Side, now in its 18th year, supports Grand Street’s social service programs, including youth and senior services, job training and LGBT outreach programs. General admission tickets cost $195. More details here.
