The Knickerbocker Station post office on East Broadway is closed today. There’s a notice on the door that indicates the station will be closed “until further notice.” Customers are being directed to Pitt Station at 185 Clinton St.
A local resident, Philip Grossman, was told by an employee at the Pitt Station that the closure is due to a bad water leak. Knickerbocker Station handles postal delivery for the 10002 zip code.
