Cops from the 7th Precinct are looking for three suspects in an armed robbery at the LES Mini-Mart & Grocery, 127 Rivington St., Saturday evening (Jan. 13) just after 10 p.m.
According to police, one man stayed outside the bodega (located just to the east of Essex Street), while the other two went inside and brandished handguns. Channel 11 reported that one of the suspects took about $600 from the lottery register. They fled east on Rivington Street.
One of the suspects is believed to be in his 20s, 5-foot-9, weighing about 220. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater, a black coat, black pants and black sneakers. Another was last seen wearing a black hooded coat, light blue jeans and black sneakers. The third was wearing a black hooded coat, black jeans and white sneakers.
