Police are trying to find three suspects who tried to rob a jewelry store at 109 Mott St. this past Saturday, at around 11:30 a..m. While two women working in the shop, Noble NY Jewelry, were pepper sprayed, the suspects ran off empty-handed.
According to cops at the 5th Precinct, the male suspect walked into the store and used pepper spray on two female workers, while the second suspect smashed a glass countertop containing jewelry. A third suspect was standing outside as a lookout. Following the botched robbery attempt, the suspects fled on Mott Street, and then headed west on Hester Street.
