A fight between two passengers led to a slashing aboard an M Train heading from the Lower East Side to Brooklyn last night.
It happened at around 6 p.m. as a 50 year-old man and a woman boarded the downtown train. According to a report from Channel 4, they began yelling at each other. “The shouting got so intense,” police said, that “the woman whipped out a small razor blade and gashed the man on his left arm.”
After the train came to a stop at Hewes Street, the woman walked away, disappearing into the subway station. The victim was treated for a cut on his arm.
The suspect is described as a 40 years old woman, weighing 150 pounds. She had several tattoos on her arms, neck and face. If you can help find the woman pictured here, contact Crime Stoppers.
