Did you catch the opening day hoopla at the Allen Hotel yesterday? After years of construction, the 41-room hotel on the southeast corner of Allen and Broome streets made its debut. Thanks to Chris Castillo for these photos.
The project was developed by the Sun Sun Group. The hotel is described online as a, “sparkling newcomer to the Lower East Side,” which pairs “timeless elegance with contemporary amenities and services.” In addition to the guest rooms, there’s a cafe and spa with “nail bar, steam room, and cedar wood sauna.”
Room rates range from $292 to $475.
