Tomorrow (Friday) is opening night for Brigitte, a French-Brazilian restaurant at 37 Canal St. (Ludlow Street).
You know the spot. For years, 37 Canal was home to Les Enfants Terribles (the new version of Les Enfants is now on Henry St.). Another restaurant, Skal, operated from the appealing corner space for a couple of years, before closing in the spring of 2015. Renovations have been going on here for a very long time.
There have been some pre-opening parties, but tomorrow night is the official opening. Regular hours, we’re told, will be Sunday-Wednesday 5 p.m.-midnight and Thursday-Saturday until 2 a.m. (the restaurant will be closed this coming Sunday and Monday).
