Two people were stabbed during an argument Saturday night near South Street and Catherine Slip, in the vicinity of the Alfred E. Smith Houses. It happened at around 10 p.m.
A man and a woman were taken to Bellevue Hospital where they are, according to the Daily News, in serious but stable condition.
The Post described the victims as homeless. Mike Costa, a man interviewed at the scene said, “It is a shame really, we are all getting housing next week. He said the victims had been living on South Street since June. While eyewitnesses said there had been an argument, they weren’t specific about how it started or how the stabbing occurred.
Police are looking for a suspect.
