Police have arrested a suspect in the beating of a 65-year-old man in the Delancey Street subway station last month.

According to DNAinfo, 19-year-old Andrew Flores was taken into custody last week and charged with second degree assault. Flores, who is reportedly homeless, is being held at Riker’s Island. He’s scheduled back in court today.

The incident happened June 19 on the Queens-bound J train platform. Cops say the suspect punched his victim in the face and then continued to punch and kick the man after he fell to the ground. The victim was rushed to the hospital, after becoming unconscious. He was treated and later released.

Flores was identified from security camera footage.
